All Walt Disney World Resort visitors now have the option to
purchase the theme park’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows travelers
to bypass standby lines.
Disney World officials lifted the previous restrictions on
Tuesday, which previously limited purchases of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass to
guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select partner properties.
The pass allows Disney visitors one-time access to all
Lightning Lane attractions in a single park for a day, with prices starting at $119
for Animal Kingdom, $169 for Epcot, $269 for Hollywood Studios, and $329 for Magic
Kingdom.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is available for purchase through
the My Disney Experience app, but officials revealed that availability remains
limited.
For Disney fans unfamiliar with the pass, some key features
include visiting an attraction without pre-selecting arrival times and digital
downloads of photos and videos being included in the price.
Disney Resort hotel guests will still have the edge over
other visitors, though, as they will be able to purchase the pass seven days in
advance, while other visitors must wait until three days in advance to buy the
pass.
