American Cruise Lines is sharing new details about its 2025 season on the Mississippi River.
Throughout this year, the company will have five riverboats offering more than 12 itineraries on the Mississippi and its tributaries. Ranging from 8 to 51 days long, the year-round sailings travel through 10 states from New Orleans, Louisiana to St. Paul, Minnesota.
The 2025 season kicks off February 21 on the American Serenade, which will be embarking on the 9-day “Lower Mississippi River Cruise” itinerary from New Orleans to Memphis.
New for this season, American Cruise Lines is unveiling a 12-day “Mississippi Explorer Cruise” from Memphis to New Orleans, as well as a new 16-day “Grand Ohio River Cruise” from Pittsburgh to St. Louis.
The season also includes two of the longest U.S. river cruises on the market: the new 51-day “Great United States” itinerary and the 36-day “Civil War Battlefields Cruise” itinerary. These voyages include the Mississippi and other waterways.
Travelers will be able to choose between classic paddlewheelers and modern riverboats. Shore excursions range from visiting Mark Twain’s boyhood home to taking ATV treks. All voyages include a pre-cruise hotel stay, private transportation, cocktails, Wi-Fi and more.
