Intrepid Travel has officially added Urban Adventures, its US-based city tour brand, into its own North American DMC, completing the 15-year partnership it had with WeVenture to create and operate the trips.
Intrepid Travel’s Urban Adventures is expected to host over 40,000 travelers in 2025, with 80 tour leaders and six city managers. UA day tours include explorations of cities like Boston, Chicago, New Orleans, Denver, Seattle and more.
Travelers can find Urban Adventures tours on an Intrepid Travel-branded website, UrbanAdventures.com, which also features day tours in cities around the world.
"Urban Adventures is a cornerstone of Intrepid’s mission to connect travelers with the heart of local communities," said Matt Berna, Senior Vice President for North America. "This isn’t just about running tours—it’s about reshaping how Americans experience their own backyard. We’re creating deeper connections, amplifying local stories, and giving back to the communities that make these cities so special."
Due to the change, Amanda Neiman, previously the North American DMC Operations Manager, has been promoted to Operations Director and will oversee UA’s operations for Intrepid Travel.
