WHY IT RATES: The industry veteran brings years of experience to his new role, having held positions at premier hotels in popular destinations such as New York and Miami.—Patrick Clarke, TravelPulse Senior Editor

Atlantis Paradise Island, the most iconic destination resort in the world, names Eric Segreti as the new General Manager of The Cove.

Nestled along a protected cove between two private white-sand beaches, The Cove is an elegant retreat ideal for discerning travelers including couples, families and friends. In his new role, Segreti will oversee The Cove’s luxury accommodations and services, manage operations, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the resort's reputation as a premier destination in the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Segreti brings over 15 years of hospitality experience, having held leadership positions at renowned properties in New York and Florida. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Rooms at Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, where he used strategic marketing efforts and dynamic pricing to enhance guest experience and optimize revenue. His career includes key roles at prestigious hotels such as The Peninsula New York, Mandarin Oriental New York, The Setai Miami Beach, and 1 Hotel South Beach.

A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Segreti also completed the prestigious General Managers Program at Cornell, refining his operational management and leadership skills.

“Eric’s deep operational expertise and extensive hospitality experience make him an outstanding leader, and we are confident he will be an invaluable asset to The Cove," said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island. "His passion for the industry and commitment to achieving excellence align perfectly with the values and vision of Atlantis.”

The Cove is an all-suite luxury hotel complete with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling ocean views and impeccable butler service. The adults-only Cove Pool features 20 private beach cabanas with Bahamian-inspired art and design. Guests can enjoy outdoor gaming at the pool or enjoy an indoor gaming session at Sea Glass Lounge. Sapphire Services, available for all Cove guests, enhances the experience with bespoke, white-glove concierge services, ensuring every need is met with sophistication.

The Cove offers upscale dining experiences from two Michelin star chefs. FISH by Chef José Andrés is the resort’s flagship seafood experience serving exceptionally creative cuisine, and Paranza by Chef Michael White puts a modern take on Italian classics. In addition, guests can choose from an impressive collection of over 40 restaurants, bars, and lounges at Atlantis Paradise Island, the culinary capital of the Caribbean.

Guests of The Cove also enjoy access to Atlantis’ unmatched amenities, including the thrilling Aquaventure water park, reimagined Atlantis Casino, five miles of pristine beaches, a rejuvenating Mandara Spa, championship golf, luxury shopping, and more.

"I am honored to join the team at this legendary resort,” said Segreti. "The Cove offers all of the elements for a sophisticated secluded retreat. I look forward to collaborating with the team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests, whether they are discovering it for the first time or returning to make new memories.”
