Thinking of taking a cruise? Now is one of the best times to book, as cruise lines are rolling out their most lucrative offers and steepest discounts during wave season. This period, which typically runs from December to March, means travelers can enjoy big savings on bucket-list vacations around the world.
Here’s a running list of this year’s wave season offers. We’ll update this story as more wave deals are announced.
Azamara Cruises
Travelers can enjoy up to $1,000 in onboard credits per stateroom on select 2025 sailings during Azamara Cruises’ “Always Azamara” wave promotion. Bookings must be made by February 28.
Seabourn
Seabourn’s “Sail of the Year” wave promotion includes savings of up to 15 percent off select 2025 and 2026 ocean and expedition cruises. In addition, travelers can enjoy reduced 15 percent deposits and up to $1,000 in onboard credits. The promotion runs through February 18.
Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours
During Scenic Group’s wave season promotion, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is offering 2-for-1 fares on river cruises and ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht voyages; free airfare with pay-in-full bookings for select itineraries; savings of up to $3,000 per suite on luxury yacht itineraries and up to $1,750 per suite on select river sailings; free flexible booking plans for all 2025 and 2026 sailings. Travelers must book by February 2.
Emerald Cruises
Emerald Cruises, also part of Scenic Group, is offering 2-for-1 fares on luxury river and yacht sailings; free airfare with pay-in-full bookings on select itineraries; savings of up to $1,000 per suite on select yacht and river itineraries; free flexible booking plans for all 2025 and 2026 sailings. Bookings must be made by February 2.

Celestyal Cruises
This year, Celestyal Cruises’ wave promotion is called “Live Your Vacation Dream.”
Travelers can save up to 50 percent on select 2025, 2026 and 2027 sailings and enjoy up to €100 in bonus credits preloaded onto their CelestyalPay tab on select sailings. Travel advisors in North America can also earn bonus commissions on select cruises they book during the sale: $50 for 3-night and 4-night voyages, and $100 for 7-night cruises. Bookings must be made by February 28.
Celebrity Cruises
Now through April 7, Celebrity Cruises is offering up to 75 percent off the second guest in a stateroom, plus up to $500 in additional savings. The Semi-Annual Sale applies to a wide variety of itineraries, including sailings aboard the forthcoming Celebrity Xcel.
Holland America Line
Holland America Line’s “Start Your Journey” wave promotion runs through February 28. Travelers can enjoy discounted fares, as well as perks like balcony upgrades, free kids’ cruise fares, bonus amenities and reduced deposits on select spring 2025 through spring 2026 cruises. Guests who book by January 31 can also receive up to $400 in onboard credits per stateroom.
Costa Cruises
Travelers can enjoy up to $200 in onboard credits per cabin on select Mediterranean cruises during Costa Cruises’ “Holiday Season” promotion. Bookings must be made by January 12.
Princess Cruises
During Princess Cruises’ “Come Aboard Sale, travelers can save up to 40 percent off fares. The wave season offer also includes free stateroom upgrades, $99 refundable deposits and free sailings for third and fourth guests. Bookings must be made by February 28.

Oceania Cruises
During the “New Year Sale,” Oceania Cruises is offering up to a four-category stateroom upgrade and one free amenity on more than 100 voyages in 2025 and 2026. Amenities include free or reduced airfare, a premium drinks package or up to $1,000 in onboard credits. Bookings must be made by January 31.
Silversea
Silversea is offering up to $5,000 off more than 500 voyages sailing through 2026. The promotion, called “Up to $5,000 Reasons to Sail with Silversea,” runs now through February 28.
AmaWaterways
AmaWaterways is offering free pre- and post-cruise land packages on select 2025 and 2026 European sailings during its wave season promotion.
Guests can extend their river cruise with a variety of free 2-, 3- or 4-night pre- and post-cruise packages. Travelers who cannot extend their vacations can receive up to $2,000 off their cruise fare instead.
Sea Cloud Cruises
During its “Catch the Early Wave” promotion, Sea Cloud Cruises is offering up to 65 percent off select sailings.
Travelers who book by March 31 can save big on 30 voyages in the Caribbean and Europe during the line’s wave season sale.
Viking
Viking is offering discounted fares on select river, ocean and expedition cruises during the month of January as part of its “Your Choice Sale.” Guests can also enjoy free international airfare on select departures.
Travelers can also choose between: a double past guest discount; a free Silver Spirits beverage package and included gratuities; or up to $1,000 in onboard credits per couple.
Bookings must be made by January 31.
Virgin Voyages
This wave season, Virgin Voyages is offering buy one, get one 80 percent off cruise fares. Travelers can also enjoy up to $300 in free drinks.

Cunard
Cunard has two wave season promotions this year: “Treat yourself, on us” and “Enjoy it all.” Travelers can enjoy onboard credits of up to $800 per stateroom, as well as perks like WiFi, beverage packages and alternative dining.
Royal Caribbean International
During wave season with Royal Caribbean International, travelers can save 60 percent off the second guest with promo code BOGO60. Kids can also sail free with the promo code KSF.
MSC Cruises
Kids can sail free and travelers can save up to 35 percent off cruise fares during MSC Cruises’ wave promotion.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line is offering up to 50 percent off all cruises. Travelers can also enjoy more than $2,000 in perks when combined with Norwegian’s year-round More At Sea offer, which includes unlimited drinks, more specialty dining, more high-speed Wi-Fi and shore excursion credits.
Riviera Travel
Riviera Travel (formerly Riviera River Cruises) is offering up to $1,000 off 2025 river cruises, of up to 50 percent off 2026 river cruises and low deposits for group bookings. Travel advisors can also earn $50 to $100 gift cards for every cabin they book during wave season.

CroisiEurope
Travelers can save up to 50 percent off and enjoy waived single supplements during wave season with CroisiEurope.
Aurora Expeditions
Travelers can save up to $6,500 on select 2025 and 2026 Arctic and Antarctica cruises with Aurora Expeditions.
Quark Expeditions
During Quark Expeditions' "Triple Bonus Event" offer, travelers can enjoy a package that includes a $1,500 flight credit, a free charter flight and hotel package, and a one-year Priority Pass airport lounge membership.
HX
HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) is offering up to $4,900 off Greenland voyages, $4,700 off Galápagos Islands cruises and up to $4,000 Antarctica trips. Northwest Passage voyages are up to $10,000 off.

Star Clippers
Star Clippers is offering up to $250 in air credits per person and up to $250 in beverage credits per cabin during its wave season sale.
UnCruise Adventure
During UnCruise Adventure's "Adventure Forever" wave sale, travelers can save on trips to Alaska, the Galapagos, Hawaii and Mexico. Cruises must be booked by March 31.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is offering suite upgrades, reduced deposits and up to 20% off select voyages. Book by February 28 to get these deals.
