The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has officially welcomed a new ship to its fleet.
The new vessel, Ilma, is the company’s second new-build luxury superyacht. Ilma embarked on its maiden voyage, a 7-night cruise from Monte
Carlo to Rome, on September 2.
The company’s first ship, Evrima, debuted in 2022. Another new vessel, Luminara,
is scheduled to set sail next year.
“It is with immense pride and excitement that we welcome Ilma to our growing fleet,” says Jim Murren, executive chairman and chief executive officer of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
“Since Evrima’s debut, we have been steadfast in our pursuit of excellence at sea. The addition of Ilma signifies a continuation of our mission to deliver legendary service and unparalleled enjoyment to our guests.”
The 790-foot-long superyacht has 224 suites with private terraces and can accommodate up to 448 guests. The ship has five dining venues, seven bars, a wine vault, a spa, three fitness studios and other spaces. It also features a large marina with a hydraulic
platform that can be extended when the yacht is at anchor.

To bring the new vessel to life, the company worked with the London-based architectural and design firm AD Associates, as well as lighting designer DPA. The exteriors were designed by the Helsinki-based studio Aivan.
During Ilma’s inaugural season, the ship is sailing in the Mediterranean, with port calls in destinations like Santorini, Porto
Cervo and Valletta. From there, the ship will head to the Caribbean and stop in places like Virgin Gorda, Gustavia and St. John.
