The world's largest cruise ship has finally arrived. Icon of the Seas is 250,800 gross ton and features 20 total decks with over 40 restaurants, bars and lounges spread out over eight unique neighborhoods. The ship can hold over 7,000 passengers, including Rover the Chief Dog officer

AquaDome

The high flying aqua shows take place here at the AquaDome. It features a 55 foot water curtain and offers sweeping 220-degree ocean views. It's here you'll also access the AquaDome market food hall stations, the Rye & Bean coffee shop and the Overlook. 

Central Park

The open-air neighborhood has become an iconic part of Royal Caribbean ships, so it's no surprise that the Central Park onboard Icon of the Seas delivers more wow than ever before. Lush greenery abounds throughout. The dining options of Izumi, Chops, Empire Supper Club paired with shopping experiences and Lou's Jazz 'n Blues make this a popular spot location. 

Chill Island Pool

Chill Island is home to Royal Caribbean's largest pool at sea, which measures at 5,812 square feet. Located on Decks 15-17, this spacious neighborhood offers guests a plethora of places to relax. We enjoyed the stroll through here from fwd to aft on our way to Windjammer for breakfast...and on the way back we stopped for a few trips down the twisty green slide that goes from Deck 16 to 15. 

Royal Promenade

You first entrance onto Icon of the Seas begins at the Royal Promenade where you'll be greeted by the stunning Pearl. Located on decks 5-6, its home to over 15 restaurants, bars and lounges with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows around. 

The Pearl

The Pearl is sure to be among the most photographed spots onboard Icon of the Seas. It spans three decks, so there are multiple angles to get. The structure is a record for cruising with 3,600 kinetic tiles coming together to create this stunning multi-sensory and immersive experience. It will take your breath away day and night. 

The Pearl Cafe

The Pearl Cafe is a spacious lounge spot great for a quick bite of a salads, sandwiches, or sweets. Or sit back and relax with a cup of coffee or tea in the comfy chairs as you gaze in wonder at the magnificence of the massive Pearl structure near you. 

Surfside

Surfside is Royal Caribbean's first family focused neighborhood for young families - think kids 6 and younger. Parents will mostly be interested in the buffet restaurant, specialty dining restaurant, or bar, while the kids will love the splash play area with water slides, the pool, the arcade, the candy shop and the carousel. 

Ultimate Family Townhouse

This three-story family suite costs $80,000 and is already sold out for 2024. It's the most epic family room at sea with a slide, musical staircase, massive balcony and so much more.

Ocean Balcony Room

A great room for families, this ocean balcony room pictured here is on Deck 7 and came with a couch that converts to a bed. 

Adventure Ocean Kids Club

This massive arena space is just a small part of the amazing Adventure Ocean kids club onboard Icon of the Seas. There's also the AO theater, the hangout room, the workshop room and rooms for babies (6-36 months) and juniors (3-5 years old). 

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is located on Deck 15. Home to the first suspended infinity pool at sea, this adults-only area has a dedicated DJ, a bar, and it is easily one of the best spots to watch the sunset. You can expect this to be quite the popular place with guests. 

The Overlook

The Overlook features some of the best views available onboard. Located behind the AquaDome theater, this area at the front of the ship is a great place to relax

Swim and Tonic

Swim and Tonic is Royal Caribbean's first swim-up bar at sea. 

Thrill Island Waterpark

Located on Decks 16 and 17, Thrill Island is the place to be for the fun-seekers. It features Category 6 waterpark, which includes the tallest drop slide at sea, the first open freefall slide at sea, the first family raft slides at sea, and the first mat-racing duo at sea. Additionally, you'll find FlowRider surf simulator, mini-golf, rock-climbing, and Crown's Edge, which hangs 154 feet above the ocean. Thrill Island is also home to Basecamp restaurant and the Desserted milkshake bar. 

Absolute Zero

Yes, Icon of the Seas also has it's own ice-skating rink. Catch the Starburst Elemental Beauty show here or go ice-skating once Royal Caribbean opens it up for public. 

Windjammer

What would the world's largest cruise ship be without an epic buffet? Windjammer is located on Deck 15 and offers a variety of food types from all over. 

Main Dining Room

Icon of the Seas has a three-level main dining room. Be sure to check your Royal Caribbean app for your my-time dining time before arriving. 

AquaDome Market

The AquaDome Market is Royal Caribbean's first food hall at sea. Options include tasty crepes, Asian food, Mediterranean food, healthy sandwiches and salads, a macaroni and cheese stand that offers mac n cheese dishes with a variety of toppings. 

Playmakers

Need to catch the game while on your cruise? Look no further than the classic Playmakers bar, which is loaded with TVs all around and has your favorite beverage and bar food too. 

Royal Theater

Located on Decks 4 and 5, the Royal Theater on Icon of the Seas opens with two shows: The Wizard of Oz, which is a next level Broadway production, and Showband, featuring a 16-piece orchestra, the largest at sea. 

Casino

Located on Deck 4, Icon of the Seas gives guests all the classic games patrons love when it comes to casinos. 

Dueling Pianos

Part of the 50 musicians and comedians onboard Royal Caribbean, Dueling Pianos is located on Deck 6 in the Royal Promenade. It is sure to be a popular spot each night onboard Icon of the Seas thanks to the amazing talent on both sides of the piano. 

Spotlight Karaoke

Love to sing and show off those vocals? Or do you love to watch others attempt to sing? Either way you're all set at the Spotlight Karaoke on Deck 5 in the Royal Promenade. 

Sorrento’s Pizza

Sorrento's is a classic onboard Royal Caribbean. Found in the Royal Promenade on Deck 5, it's location across from Karaoke and just below Dueling Pianos means it's going to be a thriving spot for a late night snack. 

 

The Track

Get your fitness on with a nice walk, jog or run around the Icon of the Seas track located on Deck 5. 

Fitness Gym

Located on Decks 5 and 6, the fitness gym onboard Icon of the Seas is massive. There's no one angle to best photograph it given its layout but just know that if fitness is important to you then you'll be covered with plenty of ways to work out at this huge gym.
