Marriott International
recently opened its 9,000th
property.
The hotel is located in Longboat Key,
Florida, and has 168 rooms and 26 suites. It also has 69 permanent residences
and is under the St. Regis brand. Longboat Key is near Sarasota in southwest
Florida.

memories for them in this stunning location.”
The company commemorated the opening with
a celebration complete with a signature St. Regis champagne Sabrage toast in
the resort’s Great Hall overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

Marriott has more than 230 signed
contracts in 57 countries for future properties. The company recently
announced a new booking service for business travel.
