In tandem with its 20th anniversary, Live Aqua is debuting two Mexico City properties in the Historic Center and Polanco this year.
Along with the opening of the two properties, Live Aqua is undergoing a rebranding “that will set a new standard for contemporary luxury in hospitality,” said Live Aqua, whose parent Posadas, is Mexico’s largest hospitality company.
“By the end of 2025, the brand plans to add over 1,000 rooms across new locations in Playa Mujeres, Riviera Cancun, the Historic Center of Mexico City, Valle de Guadalupe and the Acapulco Private Residences,” Live Aqua said.
The 75-room Live Aqua Mexico City, Historic Center, will feature a lobby bar, a rooftop restaurant, casual eateries, a spa, fitness facilities, co-working space, a business center and more.
The 31-room Live Aqua Boutique Mexico City, Polanco will include “a wide array of thoughtfully curated amenities designed to enhance every aspect of the guest experience, including a rooftop with breathtaking panoramic views, a spa, a high-end restaurant concept and a co-working space,” Live Aqua said.
In 2026, Live Aqua Riviera Cancun is scheduled to make its debut.
Meanwhile, Live Aqua’s rebranding will focus on five pillars: Human Touch & Warmth, Contemporary Luxury, Exceptional Service, Surprising Details, and Unique Atmosphere.
“Luxury is no longer about material wealth; it’s about curating transformative experiences that resonate with our guests on a personal level,” says Enrique Calderón, chief operating officer hotels for Live Aqua.
“With this rebrand, we’re introducing a new standard for luxury – one that allows guests to disconnect from the everyday, experience true authenticity and reclaim their time in an inspiring environment.”
In other developments, Posadas will debut the 496-room Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana in 2025 and the 600-room Grand Fiesta Americana Riviera Cancun in 2026.
