JetBlue has announced several exciting new routes for 2025.
The carrier will make it easier for travelers to reach underrated vacation destinations such as Traverse City, Michigan; Wilmington, North Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia; Halifax,
Nova Scotia, Canada and San Pedro Sula, Honduras as part of their new JetForward strategy.
JetBlue is adding these five new nonstop routes leaving from
Boston, as well as the previously
announced European destinations to Madrid, Spain, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
Daniel Shurz, the head of JetBlue’s revenue, network, and
enterprise planning, is looking to grow Boston as a hotspot for leisure travel with
these destinations.
“We know customers across New England love taking advantage
of JetBlue’s great service and competitive fares for their summer vacations,
and we think each of these will be extremely popular for our loyal customers in
the region,” said Shurz.
New York Area Routes
In addition to the Boston routes, JetBlue is resuming their daily
service from JFK to Washington, D.C., and launching flights to Detroit; Hartford,
Connecticut; Pittsburgh and Providence, Rhode Island in March and April. Flights leaving from Newark are bound for Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic and Los Angeles.
Seasonal flights from JFK to Burbank, California and Long Island
to Boston will also be starting in summer 2025.
