Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the launch of the
adults-only Hyatt Vivid brand with the opening of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in
Cancun, Mexico.
The newest all-suite resort in Hyatt’s
Inclusive Collection boasts a relaxed atmosphere with a host of enriching
experiences, and marks the continued growth of the company’s footprint in
Mexico with additional openings to follow later this year.
Located ten minutes from the Cancun hotel zone and adjacent
to Dreams Grand Island, which is scheduled to open later this year, the high-rise
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort was designed to combine modern design and
traditional Mexican culture.
The Cancun
resort features modern suites ranging from 570 to over 3,000-square-feet, with amenities
that include room service, bathrobes, slippers, a fully stocked mini-bar, a
double vanity in the bathroom, Pharmacopia Natural Bodycare accessories, and furnished
balconies overlooking the bay, golf course or ocean.
“Hyatt offers brands that meet guests and members across
every stay occasion and every walk of life,” associate vice president Melanie
Benozich said. “The debut of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island represents an exciting
new chapter in the Inclusive Collection’s story.”
For travelers looking for an upgraded experience, the Vantage
Club features club suites, a soaking tub, an espresso machine, a pillow menu,
personalized check-in and check-out, concierge service, club status, and
additional services, including access to the private Vantage Club lounge.
As for food and drink options, Hyatt
Vivid Grand Island will offer eleven casual dining options, six bars, five
à la carte restaurants and an all-day eatery featuring global cuisine, all of
which have a resort-casual dress code.
On-site activities and group classes include golden-hour
gatherings, instructor-led painting, wheel throwing pottery, yoga, macrame, mezcal
tastings and more. For active guests, the resort’s rooftop fitness center
includes state-of-the-art equipment and group fitness classes.
“The Hyatt Vivid brand allows Hyatt to continue to excite
our existing guests and members on more occasions while also introducing the
all-inclusive concept to new travelers who prefer a casual atmosphere,” Benozich
continued. “We’re thrilled to see the brand promise of flexibility over
formality come to life for the first time with the opening of Hyatt Vivid Grand
Island in Cancun.”
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island is also home to three pools,
including a main multi-tiered pool deck replete with a swim-up bar, food truck
and snack bar and the longest rooftop pool in Cancun, spanning 295 square-feet
featuring 360-degree breathtaking views.
Beach lovers can enjoy Ennea Beach Club, a private,
boho-chic club including two pools, a beachside snack bar and a restaurant
accessible solely to Hyatt Vivid Grand Island and Dreams Grand Island guests.
