Hawaiian Airlines is set to open a new premium lounge at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in 2027, and provided a first look of the lounge’s design and features.
Inspired by Hawaii’s natural elements, the lounge, which will be located in the Mauka Concourse in Terminal 1, will be a relaxing spot for both Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines guests. A relaxing sand-colored palette will flow throughout the lounge, disrupted by fun pops of natural colors you might find when wandering through a Hawaiian rainforest or visiting one of its many beaches.

While the airline hasn’t mentioned the features of the lounge or how to access it once it’s open, it’s likely to have some sort of dining option.
"Our new Honolulu lounge will be a celebration of our guest's voyage, thoughtfully crafted to honor the beauty and warmth of our island home," said Alisa Onishi, director of brand and culture at Hawaiian Airlines. "This space reinforces our commitment to providing an unrivaled travel experience that reflects the purpose and values of our hometown airline."
Hawaiian Airlines also recently opened its second Premier Club at Kahului Airport in Maui, the airline’s sixth overall in Hawai’i, as it follows Alaska Air Group's Alaska Accelerate growth program.
The airline is also now accepting sporting equipment, such as surfboards and bikes, as regular checked baggage.
