Disneyland Paris is getting a new expansion with a second park, called Disney Adventure World.
Disney Adventure World will continue Disneyland Paris’s enhancements
and take them to a new level. Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when World of Frozen, the park’s exciting new area that immerses guests in the world of Frozen, will debut.
“Embracing a transformation that involves the overhaul of more than 90% of Walt Disney Studios Park since its debut in 2002, we’re unveiling a fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second gate,” said Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland
Paris. “Guests will embark on a journey that blends the magic and emotion of our beloved franchises with explorations into faithfully recreated new worlds.”
“This significant evolution inspired us to rename the Park, heralding a vibrant new chapter for Disneyland Paris,” continued Rafalski. “The new name will officially take effect coinciding with the grand opening of our next themed land, World of Frozen,
marking a harmonious start to this exciting new era. With our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersion and innovation, we’re crafting breathtaking new experiences and spectacular moments at Disney Adventure World that will resonate more than
ever with our guests. It’s set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park.”
Walt Disney Studios Park Transforms Into Disney Adventure World
Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a massive 2 billion euro transformation, adding new themed areas joining Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, adding the World of Frozen experience and more.
Guests will be able to walk into Arendelle, view the towering North Mountain, and enjoy a promenade surrounding the 70,000 cubic meter Adventure Bay, where there will also be a 360-degree viewing area for water-based entertainment and light shows.
Disney Adventure World will also feature a new entrance, called the World Premiere, which resembles a movie studio that pays homage to historic movie theaters. The new entrance will open in spring of 2025.
From the entrance, guests will enter World Premiere Plaza, an Art Deco-inspired area that connects to Adventure Way, a green promenade that offers opportunities for all kinds of adventures, like the Raiponce Tangled Spin, or The Regal View Restaurant
and Lounge.
Beginning May 25, the park will also feature a new show inspired by Alice in Wonderland: Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland.
Disney Village and Disney Hotels Enhancements
Disney Village will also undergo a renovation, with new restaurants and ships, landscaping improvements and more. Two new shops, one for clothing and accessories and the other for home goods, will debut by the end of this year. A new and improved LEGO
Store is also expected to come by the end of the year.
Disney Hotels has several improvements coming to its accommodations at Disneyland Paris. In January, it debuted the renovation of Disneyland Hotel into a 5-star hotel inspired by Disney royalty.
Now, all Disney Davy Crockett Ranch bungalows will be replaced to improve the guest experience.
