For instance, on many of AmaWaterways’ Danube River cruises, guests can attend an exclusive, year-round Oktoberfest celebration, complete with a local Beer Queen, Bavarian beer, pretzels and live music performed by entertainers in traditional attire. On the 7-night Gems of Southeast Europe itinerary, guests have the unique opportunity to visit a local home in Vidin, Bulgaria, where they will be treated to a demonstration of traditional yogurt-making.
